New and updated PDF profiles will have a location map showing where all the events mentioned in the profile timeline occurred. The map works ok in the case of ancestor Adam Forbes (his map is below). However, if an ancestor has events all over Scotland, but most occur within a small locale, it becomes messy. So I have to detect if there are such clusters and produce a smaller scale map showing the group in more detail. I rely on Google static maps to work out the map scale to fit the lats and longs I provide. So more work to do.

Death by Lysol Poisoning
Great Grandfather James Whitton died in 1931 at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh from lysol poisoning. His death was subject to a precognition unfortunately all that does is confirm the cause it does not shed any light on how James came to ingest lysol. A search of the Scotsman and Evening News archives failed to reveal any articles concerning his death. Another mystery for future research.

Freebie Ancestor Chart
Once again my generosity knows no bounds. Free of charge you have access to a full pedigree ancestor chart for my and brother David's ancestors. The chart is available as a pdf file so assuming that your browser/ pdf reader has the capability you can zoom in and out to see individuals and by selecting a box access their profile on WikiTree.
As an added bonus, being a pdf file you can send it to an on-line printer to have a poster produced so that you can give it pride and place above your mantlepiece.
John, you are so generous I hear you say. What can I say! Just click on the image.

John's Genealogy Quest HQ has Flitted
Hi All
At great expense and effort, we have relocated our HQ and now operate from a luxurious custom-built office. The downside is we have to share; the upside is we are sharing with John's Genealogy Quest Home Brew Society.
