Sex and the Over 60's

I have been updating the profile of my great, great Grandfather John Whitelaw whom at the age of 62, married for a second time to Ann Forbes, my great, great grandmother.  Ann was aged 24 when she married John and the previous year had given birth illegitimately to my great grandfather, also John Whitelaw.  John and Ann went on to have 2 more children, the last born when John was 69.

I don't think I will emulate him!!!!

Is a Predilection for Belhaven 80 Shillings Genetic?

One of my favourite beers is Belhaven 80/-. However I have recently discovered that my 2nd Cousin, twice removed Cornelius Whitelaw was a brewer and certainly from 1911 until he died in 1941 worked for Belhaven Brewery. When Cornelius died he was living at Belhaven Villa in Belhaven. So maybe my liking is in my genes!!
